Default 2009 Headpipe and heat shields.

I just changed out my exhaust system. Is the original headpipe from the 2009 touring bike worth anything?

Is it same style as newer with cat in them? If so it might be worth something to someone who wants to ditch the cat and keep stock head pipes, it has crossover under the frame right?

People with 2009 CVO (think also 2009 all model in CA) might be interested. I paid $120 for one on Ebay in late 2009 for my SERG3.

It's a one year header as the 2010+ use a different size o2 sensor ( adapters are available).

throw it in the shed in case you sell the 09 and want to swap your exhaust to the new bike

I bought a 49 state header for my '09 and just kept my original Cat pipe in the garage, "just in case".

No. The stock mufflers had already blued from a year with the stock Catalytic exhaust pipe.
All I noticed was the reduced heat from the right side.

I did change to a Stage One set up 6 months later. I included the Stage One Download for the ECM.
I have had the set up for over a year now and the new mufflers are still nice and shiny chrome.
