I had to have a torn labrum repaired and I was back riding three months later. I was fine with it because the weather was crap here in Colorado Jan 31. After a few trips back to the DR. And doing my P/T I was ahead of my recovery schedule. The best thing to tell you is that don't push it and let it heal.

 

I started PT the day after surgery. The PT just did slight movement of my arm... Did that every other day for a couple weeks, then started real PT... Did that for another 3 weeks... Was back riding in 6 weeks.
