Curious how you can tell. Just replaced the fuel pump on it and I originally ordered one for a 99 because I thought it was one. Turns out it was the wrong pump. It is a 2000 or a pieced together 99 not totally sure but the engine and frame match.

Do you know if the 99 was a crossover year for the fuel injection system? Doesn't seem to match the one in the 1999 service manual which I do have.

It was the first year twin cam but not 1st year bagger efi. The 99 was the last yar for bolt on fuel lines at the tank, 2000 and later have the quick disconnects.
