Default Rear cylinder not firing... what would cause this?

So my rear cylinder quit firing at 70 mph about 200 miles into a 300 mile run.

Came in and out a few times, then compleatly out.

So I nursed it 25 mi to the closest gas station to let it cool down.

Manually shut off the parade mode off and it was fine for the next 60 miles.

Did it again about 1000 ft before my driveway.

Dropped it at the dealer today. They think it's the PCV.

Any thoughts on this?

It could be the harness that plugs into the throttle body. There was a bad pin connection on my 2010.

swap plug wires and then see if there's no spark on the front and rear is firing. If so it's the coil.

Doesn't the PC do away with the O2 sensors, or was that just the older versions?

Check the plug wires too. They do go bad.

Oh boy. Lots off different responses. This could be anything then I guess. It's at the dealer now, I'll keep the thread updated as to what they find.

I was hoping there was gonna be one definitive response. I'm nervous that this I gonna cost me a fortune... I don't wanna have to dip into my "107 jar" lol...

Yes. The pc5 uses the 02 sensors.

No! The 02 sensors are disabled when running a PCV unless you have an AutoTune along with it, in which case, the stock 02 sensors are still disabled and replaced with wideband 02 sensors for the AT.

Cool to know. I just assumed that since they were there still that they were in use.
