Default Idea for speaker grills, thoughts?

Upgraded the radio, amp, speakers and was thinking about the speaker grills. I have the typical black "screen" material. Found a website on line that sells perforated stainless steel sheets. Thinking about ordering one and cutting out grills from it. Anyone ever tried something like this? Happen to have any pictures.

Hey Sparky, thanks so much. Never even thought about that. Will head to the office supply store tomorrow. Anothering thing I wonder. Even though I have a "marine" grade radio and speakers, it always says don't let water come in direct contact. I have thought about making wood blanks, cut out to fit the size of the speakers and radio so when I wash the bike, will keep the water off them. Is this overthinking this?

I got the chrome plastic ones from Harley then painted them to match the bike orange.

I also have the Hawg Wired grills. I like them. Subtle, but a solid upgrade.

Cheap speakers get cheap speaker grills.

Why drop 5 hunnert on a killa system and not have it look as good as it sounds? Do it right. PM fluted anodized.

Hey GMoney. Looked at the PM grills but according to their site, they don't have anything to fit my 09 SG. Am I missing something? Love the looke of the chrome grills but not sure how I could mount. Let me know the secret if there is one

I just got the new Sinister Industries 6X9 speaker Saddlebag lids... They came with grilles made from perforated Stainless. You can paint or chrome them. Was thinking about making some to match for my front fairing speakers too.
