Wow, I must be a diein species! Ive a 92 FLHTP and I don't care for any seats out there. So I'm making my own! There's 2 inches of open space underneath my seat pan. So I'm utilizin that. I'm modifying the pan right now. I'll have that low looking seat that seems to look like there's no padding. Yet, there will be 2 xtra inches underneath me. I started documenting the phases of the build/modifications. Just incase there's some that would venture into what I'm building and don't want a store bought seat. Im even making the mold that will provide the foam shape that the seat covering (real leather and 2 tone) will be fitted too. I'll post the pictures soon. or email ya the steps, if anyone still likes to make their scoots personal with their own touch and not the store bought look.
