Default D&D FatCats on Sale @ AMS

I just heard that AMS (http://www.automotivemachine.com/harley.htm) has FatCats on sale for $449 - out the door! That included tax for walk-ins!

This is good this week only, so if you're considering one.... that's a pretty darn good price!

That's about $100 less then I paid when I bought mine. Great deal. Worth the price at the +$100 price.

That's a smokin deal. Now if they only had a Black Road Rage for the same deal I'd be cookin with gas.

That price seems to be for 2006 and earlier, I have an 07 Street Glide. Alas, they do not list the 07 model. 502-32B I believe, could be wrong on item number. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Phil...did you have to powdercoat your pipe black or do they come like that as an option?

The price on the website says $498...do you need to call to get the sale price?

Is that with or without the ghost pipe. If not that would be $649.00 with the ghost pipe right.

Black is an option. I got it this way.... it's ceramic.

Yes you have to call. Ask for Steve.

You can get the 07 pipe for the same deal if you call and ask.

Ghost pipe is an option. It can be added any time. I bet you might be able to buy one cheap from Vic (SleepsInTrees). He bought one and never installed it....

Phil,

I have a 2-1Propipe right know, but I really would like to try the Fatcat. My engine is stock except for the a/c, sert and pipes. will these work well on a stock engine. I don't plan to up grade the engine for sometime but I don't want to lose power either. You think I could just bolt these on and roll or am I going to need to redyno.

Phil

You should be able to bolt it on and be pretty darn close. The FatCat is definitely better at lower RPM than the PP. I've had more than one of each...

I believe Rollover has his on a stock bike and loves it. He might even have a map you could try just to see if it's any better.
