I work downtown Ft. Worth so I just cruised down 6th, turns into 7th, swung a right at Carroll after the old Montgomery Wards building and ordered the whole set, ghost pipe and all for $650 w/tax!!!! They are out and won't be getting their new shipment in till after they place the order with D&D on the 2nd. Steve said it would be 10-12 days after that! I'm pretty pumped. I've been flirting with the idea of getting rid of the VH true duals with ovals for some time. I think they look great and sound great also, but there is no question that low end torque has suffered even over the stock pipes with slip ons. Having rode with a Thunderheader on my Fatboy, I'm pretty clear on how a good well tuned 2-1 smooths out a bikes performance! I'm glad I got the Ghost pipe too actually! This being my first bagger/touring bike, I'm not ready to give up at least the dual pipe look THANKS a ton for headsup!!! He did tell me that I was #20 to order today.

Regular baffle. We don't need no stinkin quiet baffle. LOL After using the T rex pipes, they're all quiet baffles to me.

Rollover do you have the new quiet baffle or the regular bafffle on your bike?

Although I like my T-Rex's pipes and sound, I am looking forward to pipes being a little quieter. My main reason for the switch is the performance gain. I'm about to order the 98" kit.

I should note that in order tokeepKarensKuryakyn Adj Pasngr Pegs (Kury p/n# 7926) w/the ghostpipe I had to usethe extended passenger board mount (Kury p/n# 4537). Here's a pic of it:

BTW, the picture of the extended floorboard doesn'tlook likemuch clearance between the pipe & the pegs adjustment assy, but there's plenty; prolly 3/8 - 1/2".

Ordered my Fatcat today and a set of lifters, Tom & Steve were kind enough to still let me have the sale price even though it ended 12-31-06 Thanks! Talked to Steve and decided to go with the new Torque baffle steve told me it was a little deeper sounding and toned down the snap a little I leave for work at about 4:30 in the AM so I figured it could'nt hurt to be a little quieter should still sound good, dropped Phil's name and they gave me the sale price 2-1 Fatcat and lifters $648 to my door not to bad I think, would have only been about $575 with Reg baffle. I thought long and hard about it and went with the stealth baffle YEAH I like that,***** STEALTH BAFFLE***** [sm=lol.gif] sounds better than Quiet baffle you listening D&D?
