Thanks for the info. I'm going to order them. My T-Rexes are fine so I should be able to get a little from selling them as well. I like the pipes but but I spent alot of my rides cruisingat 80-85 mph due to commuting to work. I'd like to have something a little quieter and the power/torque bennies is a plus. A new look is nice as well.

T rex are definitely louder. I've had both now and am finally very pleased with my current decision to buy the Cats. I can hear my radio loud and clear at highway speeds. Actually turn it down most of the time. The Cats have a nice growl on acceleration but mellow at cruising speed. The sound of the pipes definitely turn heads. Fit and finish is excellent. Low end grunt is much improved. I'm using them on a stock motor (for now) with a pclll/ness big sucker combo and the Cats have definitely made a big improvement. My daughter and wife ride on the back so they are definitely closer to the end results of the pipes and they both agree that the Cats sound the best. They also can hear the stereo just fine. I did have an issue with one of the heat shields and D&D took care of it with no questions or hesitation. Definitely can't say the same for the Hard Krome. They left me hanging having to deal with the supplier who also told me to pound sand. No customer support from either end in that fiasco. Something you definitely won't have to worry about with D&D if by chance there is some type of problem.

Any issues with heat buildup in the slow summer traffic with both pipes on one side?

I agree with Phil. Can't say I notice any difference compared to the other sets of pipes I have used.

I bet you might be able to buy one cheap from Vic (SleepsInTrees). He bought one and never installed it....
Too late, I went & installedtheghost pipeawhile back & it lookssweet (typical D&D quality it seems). The fit? Heck, look hard as you want &can't tell it's a fake. Anyhow,so now I think I'm just gonna keep it.If I had it to do over I prolly wouldn't buy it, butseein' howI already did.....

I just ordered a set. Looks like 20 people have placed orders so far.

Phil, I really debated on getting the black pipes but figured with some of my chrome add ons I should just stay with chome. Yours looks good though.

They told me it would be an additional $60 for the black pipes if anyone is wanting to know.

Cool!

Another of my local riding buds just called & I told him about it and he's calling to order a set too!

You will be MOST impressed by the quality of their chrome!
