I do wear a helmet... Let me see if I can put a little strobe light on top of my helmet. Lol. I will look into what you guys are using.

My '09 Ultra Classic has the H-D module that converts the turn signals to marker and brake lights. If modified or additional lights prevent someone from being rear-ended I suppose it would be worth it but I know a few that have spent lots of money on the rear lights that it didn't help.

I just did the same thing that Uncle Paul said. Made a huge difference without changing the look of the bike.

Ok, if I get the LED turn signals will I need a load equilizer as well?

I am very pleased with my Kuryakans Panacea lights. And get the Kuryakan load equilizer.

Yes you will. Highly recommend Biketronics Smart Equalizer. You will need model BT801M.

I changed out the lower running light and replaced it with the HD running light that also gets brighter as a brake light. I also added the New Accent HD Brake Light that mounts above the license plate. It also has a running light and lights up brighter when the brake is applied. The combination of both of these looks good and adds alot more light.
