Anyone have any expereince with Von Braun exhaust?
I'm interested in their Smoke Screens or Radio Flyers. Looking for something different.. Have had Rinehart's.. Want deep sound, louder, but not too loud, want to be able to hear the radio.

 

I am in the same boat,have rinehart 3.5 not loud or deep,have dresser duals but looking for something bettet,ordered bassani megaphones after hearing them in the dyno room just hope they sound better.

 

supertrapp supermegs are rider adjustable- louder/softer etc.

rather than buying pipes that just "do what they do", you can have a pipe that does what you want.

The screaming eagle fatshots and nightsticks are very similar ( made by supertrapp) and can be re-tuned by changing end caps and discs

Check out the Rush Slip-on's. Nice deep sound. They have sound clips on their website, or you can do a youtube search.

 

S&S cycle mufflers. Nice deep idle a deep sound at lower speeds mellow out at cruz speeds.

 

How are the H-D SE slip-ons? I am just looking for something with a little more character than stock.

 

Try V&H Monster Ovals, one step up in loudness from the SE's in my opinion. Lots of youtube clips if you want to hear what they sound like.

 

I have a set on my 2012 FLHR and like them both cruising and highway speeds. The fit and finish of H-D Screamin' Eagles are excellent. I recommend them for those that want some "sound" but not abnoxious to the point that you can't hear yourself think. My wife who rides with me also has positive comments about our SEs.
