How many of you with Touring bikes have mismatched wheels
#21
Good point, I have a 21 up front and stock back, due to friends having high speed issues running a aftermarket rear, if bothers me that they don't match so I'm look at the 19/18" agitators as a new matching set, so when traveling I hope if any issues the local dealer will have tire size, bearings, even wheels in stock. when traveling far from home, you think about reliability and availability over fashionability of the week

On my current bike, I've been running a PM 18" front wheel and the stock rear for a little over two years now. It never really bugged me until this past winter. I thought about it being mismatched every week. So I finally caved and ordered the matching PM 18" for the rear about a month ago. It should be in sometime in the next week, but I leave tomorrow for vacation, so it's going to be like Christmas morning when I get back home!
By then, the new chrome, 6-piston front caliper will be in, the new ss brake lines, and a few other goodies too!

We sell wheels all day and people want all kinds of different combinations. Some people must have the complete set 21, 18, some people leave the stock rear and get an 18, some people leave the stock rear and get a 21", and the list goes on. I find that people with extended bags are more likely to leave the stock rear wheel as you really cannot see the wheel at all depending on how extended the bags are.
On our shop street glide we have a 23" front and an 18" rear.
