Default Thunderheader too loud?

Any way to quiet a Thunderheader down without replacing it with something else, or is a complete new exhaust the only option? Any ideas on possible replacement without too much loss in performance?

They will get quieter as you ride them more (due to your loss of hearing).

Kidding (a little bit), theyre loud and I love them. I have no idea how to get them quieter. I bought mine off my uncle who thought they were too loud, he replaced them with Freedom Performance tips which are a little quieter but still sound super nice. Not sure what the performance districts are.
