procharger/turbo
has anybody gone all out in their search for power and gone with a turbo or procharger on their bagger? if so what did you use and what kind of real gains did you make? how is the reliability of your machine since forced induction was installed? i am torn between a FM107" of just going right for the forced induction and leaving displacement at 96". any experts on this matter?

Two years owning a turbo bike myself with zero problems riding out in the desert of Las Vegas. 174 ft/# of torque on pump gas. There are many questions to consider in a turbo build to talk to the builder/manufacter. But some things I would say are....
Turbos are not for everyone... if ur the kind of guy that has others change your oil or tires then pass on a turbo.
Expect to change the oil 2 or 3 times as often as a motor bike.
A turbo CAN be a maintenance intensive bike. Depends how greedy you get with the boost.
Nothing will compare to a bike on boost. The closest may be nitrous but a turbo boost is always there. NOS has limited spray because of bottle size.
The tune is everything on a boosted bike so first research where and who can tune the bike. Just because someone has a dynojet does NOT mean they know how to tune for boost. Best suggestion is builder and tuner be same guy for possible warranty issues.
Driving 5 hrs away for a proper tune should be considered lucky.
IMO turbo is the way to go. Bike acts like normal bike at low rpm and once boost kicks in you instantly added approx 60% power and the biggest smile every time you spool up.
