I love the dark tint. Yes it's just looks. I have the Long ride shields flip with the dark tint. I love it but I look over it not thought it. The dark tint blends in well with my black bike.

I like the half tint also but I wonder how a
blue tint would look on a black bike.

I have a 15" LRS and like mentioned, it just adds a nice contrast to the appearance of the bike as I see over it. A dramatic difference from stock in the rain. Next time (prolly soon) I will order a 17 to help keep rain off my goggles better I hope. Just hope the delivery comes when the OL ain't here as I now have 3 shields.

I have harley part # 58163-02 - It is in like New condition for Sale out of Doylestown PA - It has the quick release mounting already setup so it can be on in minutes. I went to a Reckless Motorcycles Fairing for my 06 FLHRS Custom Ride. Asking $250 which is 50 cheaper than new.

I put a clearveiw 17" on mine, it has a slight recurve and is a slight smoke tint, stock came with a 20" windshield drove me crazy because it was at eye level. Now I look over the wind shield and it still keeps most of the bugs out of my face.

I ride too much in hilly terrain to have a tinted shield. I look over it for most of my riding, but on most inclines, I'm looking thru the shield at that point. At night, that could spell disaster.

The shield above with the lower part tinted looks great and would be the most I'd do on my bike.

LRS should do a split shield like the one shown, bet that would be a good seller!

Ive got the LRS light tint shield on mine. I only use it going back and forth to work. A lot of time I go in the dark and don't have any issues with seeing at all.
