I only had mine for a couple of weeks but was used to stands being further forward too. Like DannyZ71, when I get off mine I sense that movement too and find myself checking the stand. My Garage floor has a slight incline and my bike points down the incline. Guess I should turn it around and see if I feel any better.

The kickstand on my Road King has me wondering if it's set correctly. I'm used to the kickstand point of contact with the surface being further forward than where it currently is on my bike. I keep thinking the bike is just going to roll forward and fall over. Attached is a pic. Is this normal?

It aint bent, that is how they are now, they used to be farther forward but all the people that would take off with the stand down and crash caused Harley to redesign it so it will automatically retract if left down!
Blame the newbie yuppie riders!
