It looks like it could be put in from the outside? Mine looked like it might fit in that way.
Also those 2 bolts on the top of the support bracket are a PITA also.
They almost look like one time use bolts, the threads at the end are tapered, and have a cut in them, so when I try to reuse them, one of them won't start, like it's stripped.
Hope I didn't screw up that nut behind there, or it looks like I will have to take there whole dam thing apart! What a PITA just to take out some spacers!
Just go to your local hardware store or lowes/home depot. They have them in the bolt and screws section

Just my 2cents.... when buying nuts, bolts,and fasteners under 5 bucks, i buy 2-3 of them and keep them in the tool box for future issues and needing such part when the dealer is closed or a buddy needs help.
