Got myself a big problem. Lost my hard drive on my old computer, so we picked up a new computer, loaded the s/t disc. We pulled the old file outa the old computer, but it doesn't open fully in the super tuner software. Can i hook up the bike, and get the file?.Just don't wanna loose the data. thanks

 

I am not an expert: yes. Did you buy the Training DVD; I recommend it.

 

Plug in your bike then click on tuning fork. There you will see the tab "VCI" click that and it will show you the current file on the bike.

 

yes I have the training video,and ok on the hookup, will try that know, just freaking that I'll do something wrong and loose it all. I do have my college boy here, he's the computer guy.
When I've loaded some in the past, it sometimes says it didn't save the file,and I have to flash it again, so I wanted to be sure.Thanks guys, will try it now.

 

thanks for the help, got it. did have a lil trouble going from the bike to hard drive, seems my boy put some super anti virous in, it wouldn't allow it through, got that straightened out, all set. I do enjoy messing with it, just hate to start over on the same tune.
