That's another reason I don't have security on my Glide.

Were you with griff08fxdc? There was another thread about this exact same phenomenon at this exact same location a few days ago.

Would using the PIN number over-ride this you think? I have programmed my PIN into my bike (me and my buddy used the same on just in case we ever need to start each other's bikes) and wonder if you could have started it by using that.....of course, that is if your bikes had that built in.

just curious.....

Thats interesting and something I am going to look into as I am in the cellular business, most all of the cellular providers run off of a 1900 or 850 Mhz freqeuncy. I am curious as to what the frequency is that the security systems run off of, also many cellular providers have cell sites and antennas on their roof. To many days have I stood and looked over the edge at the pool....lol...

The manual entry of the code should over-ride the fob signal shouldnt it?

A few years ago in Vegas there was a big problem when car remotes started working intermittently, this was happening all over the city for weeks. Made the news as some big mystery. People were replacing batteries left and right, taking cars into the dealership to be fixed, etc.... Ford finally flew a tech down to Vegas to see what was going on and it turned out to be a radio transmitter that was stuck on broadcasting that was used by Metro's Search and Rescue.

Interesting! I wasn't aware of this problem. Something to keep in the back of your mind for future reference though. Thanks.
