Default Independent Control Aux Lamp Wire Harness

I installed this wire harness today on my 08 FLHR. How it works or what is does is that the aux lights stay on when you flip your bright lights switch on. You can over-ride this by flipping off the aux switch also. I'm sure someone is going to say thats illegal, but so what. It's Harley Davidson part# 69200442 if your interested. I like now having my brights and aux lights on at same time. Really helps light up the highway at night time. Anyone else buy this kit?

did my Ultra myself with out the harness cause I knew were the acc wire was but bought the harness for the wifes Heritage so I did not wire it to something like the ecm or something , hope to put it on this week end , and as for it being illegal I try to dim my lights for oncoming cars anyway so no one will know that the driving lights stay on with the high beems

I just bought this kit yesterday. I am putting it on my 2011 Fatboy Lo. I was going to get it put on today but just did not have the time.

Just so you know. You are very very unlikely to get a ticket in PA for having your aux lights and brights on at the same time....HOWEVER...........by state law it is illegal for your bike to pass inspection with your bike modified to allow them both on at the same time. Don't ask me to explain how that works. It's just PA being PA.

in most states it is illegal for the passing lights to be on with the bright light but that didn't stop me from putting the harness on mine I'll take my chances to be able to see better at night

Been looking at this myself. Where does it connect in to? Wondering if I will have to pull my fairing off.
