Default Klock Werks Shield?

Is there a formula or is it "trial and error" on getting the correct height replacement windshield for my SG? Yes, I am getting the "buffeting".

Thanks in advance for any info.

Go to Long Ride Shields site as they do a good job explaining on to measure for the correct height to order.

KW has a test drive program. On their site find the dealer in your area and they will mount it on your bike for a test drive, you can try all heights and decide if it works for you at no cost.

I believe I read that the top of the windshield shall be right below your nose. That is where I have it and it minimized the buffeting. I have the 6.5" flare and I really like it.

I have 8.5 on my 2010 Limited, works great. Wanted the 6.5 but I have 3 pouches so had to go with 8.5. Wife complains it's like riding without a wind shield for her behind me. She has a RK, so I'm not going to worry about it much.

My daughter has 8.5" tinted on her SG, she's 6', Mustang solo seat, it's too tall for her. I'm 6'3" & it's good for me to look over the top, but my seat is a little taller too. She want's to sell it for $110 or trade for 6.5"
