Jiffy stand safety

Most rice burners will do that. IMHO the best way is just put it in N and pull in the clutch and push Start. Things seem to last longer that way.

All this talking about clutch switches and stand switches and what will and won't start...and I can't stop wondering where the hell the name 'jiffy stand' came from...

My 07 starts with me standing next to it. Due to my right leg prosthetic; I can't remember the last time I put my stand up before I take off!

I have an 08 street glide. It wont start up in gear it has to be in neutral and my kickstand has to be up. kind of a pain in the *** actually
