Default Thinkn bout trade'n open for opinions..

Would appreciate some thoughts bout trade'n my 08 street glide on a new street glide 2012, I put a 2n1 rinehart, the SE comp in and 255 cams it has only 16,000 miles and all n all I am happy with it, but just think'n would I be happier with the 12 and some warranty? I have enough money to put down to keep payments the same, but then I would have to put pipes, tuner and cams in the 2012 also, so let me hear your thoughts... Also considered a used 2011 or 12 so didn't have to take the sticker and freight beat'n and maybe find one with all the goodies on it....
I do value you guy's opinions btw..

Is any of that interchangeable? If so put back to stock before trading. I'd take a 2011 myself

Personally I'd probably go used with all the goodies already done since you seem worried about paying to add on the extras that you want.
But new is nice as well, being the only owner/rider of it.

Sounds like you're content with what you have - my advice would be keep it. You'll get almost as much for your 08' in 2-3 years as you'll get for it now and seeing as you only have 16K on it in 4 years it'll still be considered low mileage and be in the highly sought after price/mileage range. Just my .02.

You have it built and nothing wrong with it - keep it.

Keep it and ride. Buy a new one later with another payment book and keep the old one that's paid for. That way you'd have 2 bikes, Best of Both Worlds.

Your choice...Not mine,

Sometimes you just need to ask yourself why ? A couple of years down the road you will be going thru the same thought process........... after pipe upgrades, cam upgrades and on and on and on and on bla bla bla bla............................................... .......the 08 is yours, make it yours, define it as yours, you know ONE of a KIND ! Ain't another one in the parking lot like it...................... But after all it's just a Street Glide.
