Quick bang for the buck with what you have = add a cam and the rev-perf EMS. I run S&S 551 EZ start cams, the RP EMS and SE touring pipes/stage 1 AC and I'm very satisfied with the way it runs.
My stage 2 96" combo wipes the smile off of stage 1 103" riders.

Default my thoughts

My knowledge about engine mods is like showing up to a **** audition with a 4 inch weiner, well I had a 2004 lowrider a couple of years ago, had a revolution 95 big bore kit put in, well biggest problems ever. kept blowing oil, everytime it was taken to dealer, rep from the company had to come down and see what is wrong. Something was scratching the inside sleve of the juggings. This happened a couple of times and I finally got tired of not having a bike, so I traded. My point is I did not have much luck with going inside of an engine and I will be satisifed with some minor work without breaking seals. Thanks for reading.

That is exactly the cam I was thinking about too!

There is tons of se255 cams on flebay, you can pick one up dirt cheap, and you use stock pushrods.
