It's now down to a SG or EGC... Handling question
#21
The hubby has an '08 EG standard - no tour pack. He thinks my SG handles better in the twisties and he'll lay it over futher than his bike. He got his in '07, and had 30+k miles on it before I got my SG last year.
Take that for what it's worth - I've never ridden his EG, so have no opinion of my own.

Great feedback! Whatever I decide, it needs to be the right choice. When you're talking about a $20,000 + purchase, you don't want to screw it up. This will be my last bike for awhile..
Honestly, if I had the garage space, I would consider keeping my Dyna and add a used bagger. My Super Glide is a great around town bike, but after riding to Daytona (again), I feel it's time to get more comfort.
My heart likes the SG. My brain likes the EGC.

just went through the exact same decision, have had the streetglide for one week. first thing i noticed, the wife made the bike bottom out on bad road conditons. next she wanted new floorboards instead of the pegs. then she needed a taller windshield as the wind mused her hairdew. should of got the EG. fistbump.
