Garemlin: I ordered a Squareback. I did Mercedes vinyl seating area with smooth vinyl band with the cobalt seam stitch......no graphics.

Rickr01: I didn't want the thread to be blaringly obvious. I wanted it subtle...Dave sent me some pics of ostrich and cobalt stitching and it was the look I was going for. The main reason I bought the seat is to lower me about about .5". Dave said I'll actually be about an inch lower....which is good because I'm 5'9'' and I can barley flat foot it now....1" would be PERFECT/

The lighter of the two. I like my Big Blue Pearl but it looks black in the dim light.

I want the thread to match the bike, not to really stand out....

Nicky, Seems you know what you want already. Only comment I can make is that in my opinion the Cobalt is going to offer no contrast and will just look black. If thats the case I think it defeats the purpose of using a contrasting stitch. Hey Man, it will look fine either way, just depends on what your after! Like to see a Pic when done.

You WILL be an inch lower and an inch further back. If that's not what you want call Chuck immediately and tell him, he'll work with you. Loved all my C&C's! Excellent choice too...for future reference a bright colored thread will fade after a while from your azz sitting on it and being out in the sum. I had a fairly bright red on mine three years ago and it matched my bike perfectly after a few months.
