dyna beads suck
#21
You obviously have a problem elsewhere or you didn't do something right. Dynabeads work if they are installed right. You must make sure you don't get a lot of soap lubricate on the inside of the tires. That will make the beads clump together. You also have to make sure the tire seats properly on the rim when inflated. I've been using them over three years now in three different bagger's with good success. Did you mount your own tire's? If not, did you tell the guy and watch him to make sure he didn't get a lot of Lubricate inside the tire? Did the tire beads seat properly on the rim? You can tell by putting the bike on a jack and spinning the tire. Good luck!

I had a MT90B16 E3 with dyna beads that would not balance at 68 to 73 mph. The date code on the tire was 4809, if I read it correctly. I believe the tire was out of round. At 18000 miles the tire had wore into the wear bars in some spots, other places there was plenty of tread. I replaced it with a 150/80/16 E3 no beads, no weights, smooth as silk.
