I listened to both on bikes at the dealership and prefered the 3.5s sound over the 4s. The 4s are too mellow for me.

My 3.5s sound great with my gutted stock header on my 2011 FLHX 103. I bet they'll sound even better when I eventually get some Dresser Duals.
