Are you sure that your alternator or regulator hasn't taken a crap? I've been through one of each, but the battery's still goin' strong.

The last time I rode it the charge meter was reading 14 volts. I just got through checking the charging voltage at 13.9 to 14.2 volts.

Were these batteries terminals Pos & Neg on the opposite side from the stock batteries??

Bear in mind that there are only four or five companies that make every battery you'll ever find.

Well, it ain't the alternator or regulator then. Looks like you're right about the battery.

I bought a Deka last year for my bike was quite a bit cheaper than th HD battery.

Bought an ETX30L AGM at O'Reilly's for 118.00 with a 1 year warranty. Went with them because they are everywhere if you break down.

Just ordered one for my ultra trike. Saved $60.00 over batteries plus.
(got one there last year and it alread took a crap. They won't stand behind it either.)

I doesn't have the Bar & Shield but then its was also $100 cheaper .
