I have one of these Bluetooth head sets and one should be able to plug a cable from it into the head unit and feed the music wirelessly from your iPhone or any bluetooth enabled device to your radio. The small unit also allows you to move forward or backward in the selected playlist or pause. Just an idea that would allow some control without having your iPhone or MP3 player in close proximity.

I too have the Riders Claw, in black. Great product, comes with 2 jacks. 1 long, 1 short. Easy to install and the placement is great. You can keep your hands on the handlebars while searching through your music. I strongly suggest this product.

I bought all the cht to do the iPod thing and then found out on this forum how to put 104 songs on a CD. I will probably not use the iPod any more. I can control the CD with the hand controls and change the CD if I stop after a really long run and all the tunes have played. Set it on random and forget it. And it came with the bike. 06 and up. And it's all water proof.

The cheapest, neatest, most integrated and most secure option IMO is this.

Purchase a Sony DMR head unit with integrated tune tray. You can pick up a basic model for as low as $90. There are a few other models with more bells and whistles.

Sony DSXS100 Digital Media Receiver

A marine version is only $160

Sony DSXMS60 Marine Digital Media Receiver

Get the Biketronics BT1002 Retro Radio kit

Biketronics Inc. RetroRadio Sony Radio Install Kit for FLT (06-UP) Models

Total spent in the range of $285-$355.

Turn around and sell your stock head unit. Got $400 for mine. Total spent $0 with a little extra in your pocket.

Talking about the deck or whatever that has the ipod tray in it sorry, should have quoted.

I just bought this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...00_i00_details

AND this
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...00_i00_details

My plan is to just keep using my iPhone in the windshield bag but try to route the splitter cables through the windshield bag, inside the fairing where they split and come up through the ignition nacelle and take the charge end and audio end to there appropriate sides. I like most of my songs on my iPhone and if not I can suffer through one bad one OR even pull it out and change it if some of my daughters Taylor Swift finds its way out.

I just dont like all the dang wires wrapped around my PYO Bagger Bars.....looks hideous! And I dont want a mount on my handle bars......I ride a Harley not a BMW. Thats just my opinion guys and I usually voice it whether popular or not.
