Default Which bag for Tour pack?

Well i think i have narrowed it down to the Kuryakyn Pakmaster or the T-Bag Dakota. Id prefer not to put a luggage rack on my EGC, but the T-Bag has more storage space. I also plan on renting an Ultra later this summer and will be bringing along whichever bag i end up going with. I guess the Ultra would have the rack, so then that rules out the Pakmaster. We do a lot of long trips from our home on the EGC, so im trying to get something i can use for the rental and also work on my EGC without a luggage rack.

Pakmaster

$150 on Ebay.

T-Bag Dakota

$200 on Ebay

Saddleman Bag and Bra
http://www.saddlemen.com/store/index...oducts_id=7291
Saddleman offers this setup with their bag, but i dont know if the bra tapes or straps on the trunk lid.
About $225 for Bag and Bra

T-Bag Bootcase
http://www.tbags.com/Detail.aspx?ID=95&selectedcat=3
T-Bags offers their Bootcase which is uses a bra as well. Its capacity is pretty small compared to the others and the bra uses tape to attach to the trunk lid.
About $240 for bag and bra.

Any other options out there?

I vote for the dakota, more storage space is something you will never regret.

I've got the sadleman tr3300 and it holds a ton. It doesn't fit perfect on the rack but still looks good and holds a weeks worth of clothes for me and the ol. Price was right too.

Ok i think the Dakota wins.

Dakota Specs: Dimensions: 26" W X 11 1/2" H X 12" D
Capacity: 2.3 cu. ft. (including backpacks and external pocket)
Tough 1680-denier ballistic nylon with fade-resistant UV treatment

Saddleman Specs (TR3300DE): 24" W x 11.5" H x 12" D; measures 3,300 cubic inches
3,300 Cubic Inches = 1.9 Cubic Feet
The Saddleman says the following "Constructed of UV-, water-, and weather-resistant 1200 denier Saddle Tuffä and leather-like vinyl panels"

I dont know what the heck Saddle Tuffa is, but im assuming its similar to the Ballistic Nylon.
I like the inclusion of the 1 Qt. bottle holders on the Dakota as well.

that rental will likely not have a rack, call ahead and ask, look at nelson-riggs gwr1000,huge easy to use well made and should be had for 130(been awhile since i priced them).to full face lids+ a pair of sneaks and rain gear.

I have the bootcase and bra. Put it on when we go on a trip, take it off when we get there. Works great, lifetime warranty. Plenty of room for me and the wife (including her hair dryer and Iron)
