Default Fosgate pbr300x4 with Sony unit

So I am going to try the Fosgate amp. I have the Sony unit that has female rca jacks. I noticed that the amp also has the female jacks. Are you guys just getting a double male end to connect these?

The shortest ones I could find were at a local stereo shop, 18 inches made by Stinger

Hawgwired has a real short one that comes with their amps, maybe they can sell you one or tell you where else to get it. That's the only one I've seen that doesn't have all the left over wire,

I'll try to find the thread but several people have found that using the RCA's gave poor performance compared to using the regular line out option.

Edit: Here's where the info on RCA's = line outs discussion starts.

Yeah I think I will be going this route. I hooked it up last night using the RCA and wasn't impressed.
