Default Boom Speakers & what Amp?

I am planning to install the Boom spakers in my Ultra Limited. I am going to wait on the Amp until later to determine if I really nned an Amp. If I install an Amp I would like a fairing mounted one instead of the under tourpak Boom version. What is everyone else running with these speakers?

Niether.

Buy your self a nice set of Focal Access 165CA1 ($115.00) and a RF 300x4 amp. ($170.00) Way better and louder then the Harley stuff.

I have just the Boom speakers. Plenty loud enough for me.

Boom speakers only on my last two bikes. No amp needed BIG improvement from the stock speakers. More volume and much better sound. They look great too!

Great, that's what I'm thinking also that maybe just the speakers are all I really need. I just want to be able to listen at highway speed and have it be clear. If I want home stereo sound, I'll stay home.

Just installed the Boom speakers last Friday. Don't see why you'd need an amp. The speakers alone are plenty good enough. Sound very good even at 75+ mph.
