IPOD interface,yay or nay
Thinking about buying this, just wondering if anyone has it and enjoys it? I'm sick of getting out my tank bag and making sure my IPOD touch is fully charged, then getting out my little aux wire . Then when we get somewhere go through the whole thing of disconnecting again. It sure would be nice to leave it connected, charge, and search through my songs.

I have an old iPhone 3G that I use with Harley interface. I only have to remove it to sync new songs.
Play lists are your friend with this setup as navigating through all your songs to find a specific one can take awhile.
I have heard good things about the IronCross iPod interface and I believe it works real similar to the Harley one.

I have the Ipod interface and was using it with my old IPhone 3Gs and about every 4th or 5th time starting the bike it would not play music, so I would have to get off the bike unplug it an plug it back in. Last time I used it, it kept making the sound it makes when you plug it in. I think that the IPhone is just worn out. I switched it out with an old IPod Nano that I have and it works much better. It says in the manual that the Nano's are the prefered unit to use.

I posted this quite a while back. Still delighted with it, use it all the time. iPhone is mounted with Ram mounted and I did the rear aux port mod
