Do you still have the bags? I would be interested.

The bags I bought were black but I kind of like the black bag look on a classic (after all the original leather bags are black). In addition, I just posted a thread a couple days ago asking what I should be expecting to pay for a paint job on the bags. The guys here said roughly $500 maybe more...at that price I think I like black bags just fine. My bike is by no means a show winner, I just keep it shined up and enjoy piling the miles on. I only went with the hard bags for the bit of added security as a lot of my riding is running errands to the store(s) and I almost always have my laptop with me.
I am looking for cop bags in black for my 2000 RK too. You are a fellow Delawarean. What part of the state? always looking for riding partners!!

Got mine on eBay for $600 all hardware included. Had to get them painted to match. Still cheaper than buying from MoCo.

Smile New hard bags

I just put extended hard bags on 07 road king classic. I went with Sumax, bags came complete. The quality and the fit were outstanding & great customer service, would buy from them again. Cost was $1000. shipped.

Man, you got ripped off! Who charged you $150 for a set of locks that cost
$54 a SET? keyed to your bike directly from the MOCO. I just bought a set, so am very familiar with this... hmmmm

I'm glad you sold me those bags Tim, before your friend got a hold of them... ;-)
Will be listing my 05 RK Custom leather bags soon in the classifieds.
Finally got my lockset, $54 keyed to match the bike. So, all in all $750 total.
After selling the leathers, the swap will cost me about ~$400 delivered.
Not too bad seeing they are real nice, and the correct color too. I don't think I could have done much better than the deal you gave me! Thanks!
