Price seems a little high, but the fit and that hinge is awesome. All the matters is that you like them. Screw price. Just ride and enjoy.

 

The hinge is sweet. Comes with all new locks and keys. Still have room inside even with hinge etc for gear,etc.

The quality of the BadDad is amazing. The inside is full lined and smooth like stock, actually better. Their bags and fender lined up perfectly

 

Nice bike, thought ya were gonna have airbrushing done? Like the bike but not too fond of ur crash bar, with those Basra santee bonAnza highway bar would give better lines.

 

What all did you get powdercoated? That seems like alot to me.

Primary cover,levers,ac,forks,all brake reservoirs.the $2500 was all labor,supplies,etc having to prep,check fitment,tear apart fairings etc

 

Oh and floorboards and both wheels.

Going with a 21"spoke wheel soon

 

Bike looks great but agree about the no tank decals.... Makes the bike look naked if you will.... Whethere it be a metal decal or airbrushed on there the tank needs something.

 

So the only drawback on these hinges are the two bars that run across? So as long as you weren't putting something in almost as wide as the bags you are OK? Those bag liners HD makes for example won't work anymore.

That should be everything. And then you have to figure in cost of paint for bike,labor,sanding,etc the entire bike came apart.

As for the bags someone asked about. Yes still have room just like any other bag. HInge bracket doesn't interfere. Inside is injected for a smooth finish..just like sstock,but better. The baddad kit is amazing.fast shipping,awesome quality.
