Default C&C or LePera (Looking to be about 1" lower)

I'm really not wanting to mess with the suspension on my 2012 FLHX, so the next option to lower me a little is a different seat. I'm not a fan of the way the stocker looks, so I've pretty much narrowed it down to a LePera Silhouette or a C&C Fastback. I am 5',9'' with a 31" inseam. I can flat foot it once I am at a stop after I adjust a little....I think I also need a more narrow seat. I'm looking for the comfort level of the stock seat but to be lower....and I'm not a fan of getting the stock seat redone, I'd rather have something semi-custom looking.

SO.....any advice and pics would help!

Shortly after getting my 2011 SG I had the same issues and I'm 5'9''. I went with a CC seat after talking with Chuck, he made the seat exactly how I wanted it, about 1 inch lower. I put 4,000 miles on the bike shortly thereafter on a trip out through Wyoming, couldn't been more satisfied.

I have the LePera on my sg. It's pretty hard and isn't the most comfy seat. I can only go a couple of hours before my butt and tailbone hurt pretty bad. I only leave it on for around town cruising.

+1 too.
Hardest seat I've ever had the regret of sitting on.
Like sitting on a brick with a cover on it.
Got rid ot it too after one ride.
Gotta be a masochist to ride one of these for any duration..IMHO.

I called C&C and asked them about blue thread for the stitching and whoever was on the phone seemed bothered by me asking. He said to e-mail my address and he'd send thread samples....I hope he does it soon because I have the money now and I want to buy it yesterday!

Chuck sent me the thread sample PDF along with a design PDF last year before I purchased. Once I had the info I called with what I wanted and it was on my ride less than a week later. C&C is a firm seat, but I can easily ride a full tank with out getting off.
