as stated in this thread..not without changing alot.. rear fender, maybe swing .. the 09s & later have a wider rear wheel & tire.. I know you will bropple have to have a new axle for the frt wheel to.. maybe some spaces.. others can probbly give you more advice on this..I to used to have a 06 touring HD..I went to the 09 due to all the newer changes..

well i ended up finding a pretty much bran new wheel and tire from a 2012 Streetglide, so i called the dealer to get some bearings (because it was off a abs bike), and the newer front axle with spacers, the dealer told me that the front forks was narrower on the newer bike and i wouldent be able to use that axle on my 06 forks? i thought the frontends have been the same sence like 00? and the he said i couldent put the 06 bearings in the wheel because the pocket on the wheel was to shallow which im pretty sure is right, but please tell me hes wrong about the front ends and all i still have to do is get the 09-12 front axle, wheel bearings and spacers?? to run the 2012 front wheel on my 06 streetglide, and then just bolt my rotors too the wheel and i can still use my calipers right??

Very wise! The front can be retro fitted to earlier bikes more easily than the rear.
