Default Just installed QQ Thunder Monster baffles in my rineharts...WOW! NOW WITH VIDEO

I was looking for that hotrod type sound without worry of being pulled over all the time and WOW i am impressed. with the cams it idles awesome

The rineharts out of the box (classic 3.5's) sounded good, but left a little to be desired. On the 'loud' scale, id give them a 5 (1-10). now they are a solid 7.5 and have a great rumble but are still tame enough to talk to my wife on the back.

I don't have a good video with sound clip yet but i will post em up soon. worth every penny and got a cool t shirt!

I have a 2004 RK Custom with the Rinehart TD's....

What size baffle did you go with?

I believe it was the 1 7/8. but I just measured the OD of my header which was 2" and they said i needed that baffle, and an adapter sleeve.

I wasnt thrilled with drilling holes, but it was very straight forward and took a couple hours taking my time, and running home to grab my jack

Where did you have to drill?

Need to get a better camera than my phone the sound just doesnt cut it.

I had to drill a hole into the header so I could bolt the baffle in place. No big deal and the clamp is before the hole so there is no chance of a leak.

Did you keep the baffle in the muffler and use the BTC in the header?

I used the QQ series before and yes, they help alot.

I currently have the standard BCT header baffle, like the loly pop, in the header with my V&H mufflers (still using the baffle in the muffler). It helped a ton with low end tq in my true duals.

Have fun and enjoy.

No I removed the muffler baffle. I really like the sound. No raspy popping or cackling but it has a nice hotrod type rumble.
