Default 2012 Ultra CVO

Looking at buying a 2012 CVO Ultra from a private party. Is there anything I should be worried about. I haven't seen or heard anything that might cause me alarm. I've got 41,000 miles on my '09 Ultra, and with the red head on the back most of the time, the added cc's will make the ride smoother and the engine wont' have to work as hard. Any input is appreciated... TD

Note: Also posted this in the CVO forum.

You too?
I started a thread about possibly going from a 2009 Ultra to the 2012 CVO up in the general section yesterday. Good luck with your decision!

Wanting to switch out my CFRs for the stock Screamin Eagle pipes. The seller may not want to do that. Might sour the deal...

You will feel more heat from that engine and cat. So be ready for that.

I've got a D&D Fat Cat on mine with the ghost pipe. So far I haven't noticed any right side heat whatsoever.

Why not go for a new CVO Ultra ?. Dealer may deal on switching pipes over among other few things you may want to upgrade. That is if you get a new bike...Congrats !.

Good Luck,

Thorey

I'd save the money and just upgrade your current.
