If you add slip ons and Ac, you must re-tune correct?

what about killed cat and AC with stock mufflers?

Killed my cat last week, yes it sounds a little better, but I need more volume!

Follow the link in my previous post to the Supertrapp forum.
They say slip-ons and air filter NO tune needed. But that's still with the cat.
Being the 02 sensors are pr-cat, shouldn't make a difference wether the cat is there or not.
Stealer will tell you you need a tune for ANY change... exhaust or filter.. BS in my opinion.

That's what I was thinking. I think the cat must have some muffling effect on it. Get rid of it and it's a straight pipe.

Question

If I installed Cobra slip on drag pipes and put the stage I a/c and had it dyno'd, the dealer said the cats would be eliminated. This is on a 2012 Heritage Softail Classic. Is the 2012 different as to where the cats are located?

Thank you Convincor. Please accept my apology for hijacking your thread. I'm new here and don't mean to be rude. I haven't even picked my bike up yet.
