Boom's were on my short list of speakers. I opted for the Biketronics Titan II's. One big deciding factor for me was the lifetime warranty. And the fact they are efficient enough to run without an amp. Boom's are nice though. Have heard them in person and they sound pretty good.

Had the entire BOOM system installed before delivery of my new Limited. It is awesome, don't even use my headset anymore unless I am traveling with friends and want to talk on the CB.

I put the booms on my street glide last year and am glad I did. I just got the kit for the lower fairings but don't have them in yet. Work and all that eats up my time yo. I'm sure they will help this old fart hear the tunes. Plus they look good.

Now - Not a problem. Bass down and treble up really kicks in those tweeters and the sound is clear and easy to hear.

On my last bike I spent about $600 on a "system" and these sound just as good at half the price and no holes drilled into my inner fairing.

Recommended upgrade.
Do you have a P/N for the speakers you used? Only ones I see online come with an amp for 549. Planning on doing the stereo over next winter but would like something to hold me over until then.

Are the Booms 2 ohm speakers? If so then I could use the Booms with my Hog Tunes amp.

I see HD now offers the Booms for the older fairings (I have an 04) Are they just a simple speaker swap?

I took my first spin with my Booms installed as well. To tell the truth I was a bit surprised. They were actually louder than I thought in my basement. I had to turn down the bass where on the stock speakers I had the bass wfo. Volume at half way is Booming(Thus The Speaker Name). Anyways I'm happy!!
