Default Clutch help! Please

I just installed a new clutch pack in my 01 RK, the pack is a BDL made by energy one with a extra friction.plate. Every thing came out fine and when I started the install, there was not a narrow friction disk in the new kit, so I used the oem narrow disk and installed the metal and friction as per the manual. When I got to the end of the hub I had 1extra friction left, so I pulled it back down and reinstalled same thing 1 extra disk. I figured it was the narrow friction that I used, so I buttoned it up put in redline primary oil adjusted the clutch,4 times and the clutch will not disengage all the way. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Rick

I just went on energy one web and found out not to use the stock plate or the diaphragm spring. So off it comes. I wish they would have sent those inst. with the kit!

Hopefully the instructions told you to soak (marinate) the friction disks in primary oil prior to the install.

Yep. You need to remove ALL the steel disks and throw them away. I installed the Energy One clutch pack with the extra disk and new spring. This clutch pack performs better than stock IMO.

I used Barnetts extra clutch plate kit on my Dyna. Response is way better! I'm all for trashing stock and at least going with aftermarket +1 by reputable company on any bike. Great upgrade for the price.
