Or a heat gun and usually the glue from the tape just peels off.

Been using them for 3 tire changes now. They work well for me. I clear the valve stem with a pipe cleaner, put a little air in the tire and tap the stem as I slowly pour them in. Bike is smooth at all speeds.

If you have painted alloy wheels a heat gun will burn the paint of.
