Rainsuits?
#51
I bought the HD Hi-Vis suit last year before my Chicago to Sturgis ride. Hit horrendous rain on the ride home. The gear was amazing - everyone else in suits of all kinds got wet. I was completely dry and just as importantly, riding tail gunner, the hi-visability of the reflective gear was a huge relief. Don't forget that heavy rains usually means heavy clouds and low visibility.

I paid $16 for a set of Frogg Toggs at Bass Outfitters two years ago, and they've kept me dry through a few torrential downpours.
Therefore, I've more than gotten my money's worth out of them, and they were definitely the best "bang for the buck" that I've gotten for the bike so far.
Just need to keep them away from the pipes.

I just bought the HD Hi-Viz rainsuit for my wife and myself. We got caught in heavy rain and for some reason my crotch got wet. Grant it the storms scared the sh-t out of me but not the ****. my upper body got wet only because I couldn't close the zipper up the neck fast enough when I hit the rain but it doesn't explain why my crotch got wet. Maybe I got a defective pants thats all I could think it could be. The yellow Hi-Viz also reflects brightly in my windshield back at me. I have a 90 day warranty to test it out. Might have to have my wife spray me with hose to test it out before the 90 day period.
