Yeah, that looks great! Too bad it was such an aggravation to get it right...

At least they made it right, that's the important thing. It is a long-term purchase for the bike so I was patient. It's definitely very well-built and sturdy, I expect it to be a great addition for a long time.

Wow! That thing came out great! I'm not sure I have the patience you guys have though....That would definitely push me to my limits if that's the norm for DF.

The bike looks great! You must be a saint, had I had the issues you did, I would have gone A bomb on them!

It's a long-term purchase so I didn't mind as much as long as they got it right. I knew it had potential to be a quality product as it was obviously very well-built. I'm sure they don't like to have to replace fairings so hopefully my situation was an outlier...

Texas - I agree, way too clean because I've been traveling too much for work lately. Hopefully I'll have some time over the fourth to dirty it up a little. Besides, I have to admit I'm a little obsessive about keeping this bike clean - but it's so worth it!

I think if I go Dragon Fly, I'll ride down to Anaheim & pick it up myself & avoid any issues. Sure would be nice if they were still in Lynnwood. Looks great!

That would be ideal - so would going to a rally where they sell them outright. I'm sure I would have gotten it quicker if I would have used a local paint shop too. Unfortunately, I live on the other side of the country and there were no rallies in my area. From what I understand, they also do the wiring and initial install in Anaheim or at a rally for free; I had to pay a couple hundred extra to my local HD dealer to install the wiring. If you're good with that sort of thing, you could do the wiring yourself too.
