Rickr01 - the way those brackets are made would lead me to believe that they would work oK with a powder coated bar. Be careful about sliding the bracket on the bar to make adjustments to their mounting position though - they will scratch the powder coat.

Kuri ISO pegs and hand grips. Very comfortable. Can ride either way, with ball of the foot on the peg and heel on the foot board or with legs more fully extended with feet completely on the pegs.

Default Powder coated crash bar/pegs

I always love the feel of the "highway pegs", and the protection of the crash bar, but hate the look. So this winter I powder coated the crash bar. I was worried that the extra thickness of the powder coat, wouldn't let the mounts(that are very similar to the harley billet mounts, except I bought them on ebay for @ $50) go back on the bar. So I adjusted the mounts so that I could reach the pegs with my toes, with my heels on the boards, and are very comfortable to throw the legs up on too, and had the bar powder coated with the mounts on the crash bar. Even took the Harley(I think they were $39) pegs apart and had everything except the rubber powder coated too.
Turned out great fro me. I have the best of both worlds. I have the functionality of the crash bar, without it completely standing out.

Do integrated ones count? I have the HD Mustache Engine Guard. I really don’t use them much except to stretch out once in a while. I am more comfortable with my feet on the boards next to the brake. I do like the minimalist look of it though.

Kuryakyn Longhorns with Dually pegs and Trident pads. The pads match the Streamliner foot controls a little better than the standard ones.

Have them positioned so I can rest my heel on the boards and toes on the pegs. Or fully stretch my legs out.
