I have always wondered, how the heck does a single front FLHX crash bar keep the batwing fairing and the rear saddle bags from being damaged? Everyone who seems to have dropped theirs always comes back with "No damage other than Pride!" How can that be? I'm not anxious to drop mine and find out, but thought I'd ask?

 

It happens to us all. It's not a big deal, just pick her up and ride on.

 

If no one saw it, it never happened. Anyway, it's not really yours till you drop it.

I was an a$$hat when I did it. I simply forgot to unlock a fork lock and tried to take off into an immediate turn....oops.

 

I had a buddy who picked up his bike (Big tough guy and dint want any help)and forgot to put his stand down and over it went on the other side. Live and learn!!... I have NEVER done it and thats my story and im sticking to it!!! (Just cant figure were those scrape marks came from???)........o~`o.......................

 

I remember when my Ultra started to go over and I thought I could pull it back up, I had been able to do that with my previous bike, not! It sucks but think goodness for the floor boards.

 

No harm, no foul! More embarassingg than anything.

 

If that is all you have to worry about today, that is nothing compared to others peoples problems right now.
