Default Those of you running an LRS Ultra 6"

Currently have an 8" Ultra dark tint on my SG. Want to go a little lower and possible a lighter tint for better night visibility. Not sure if I should go 6" or 7". Those of you running an LRS 6". Does it work good for you as far as air deflection??? What is your height and inseam??? Did you come from a taller shield??? Some pics would be cool too if you have them.

I'm running one. I'm 5'10" with a 30" inseam. It works perfect for me. I tried a 7" ultra and felt it was too much. Sorry, cell phone pic.

Anything helps. Thanks. How much would you say you look over??? Where does the top of the shield hit horizontal on your face???

Hey G , I run a 7" clear ultra flip LRS and really like it.
I tried the Klockwerks 6.5" flare and the LRS offers much more smooth wind around my head.
7" is the highest shield that I can look over comfortably as I'm a very short (sitting) 5'8".
I really like the clear , as it's less irritating when coming to the crest of a large hill at night , as opposed to any shaded shield.
In all fairness the Klockwerks is the best shield I've ever run in a driving rain storm.....

For best wind deflection try to get the LRS ultra shield that comes to about the bottom of your nose. I run one taller than you because I am 6'4" but the fit is the same.

@HarleyRanger: Thanks. I know the guidelines and that is where my 8" hits. Just wanted to go lower but still keep some wind deflection as well as being able to get some sort of tint.

@Mick: Thanks. I would really like to run some sort of tint. Which is the reason I want to go lower. The 8" dark works good on straight-aways. But when cresting hills it is not good. You say you are 5' 8". Would you consider yourself tall torso or not??? I'm the same height and am taller in the torso than long in the legs.

I'm a very short torso/long legs kind of build.
I do run the stock 09 ultra seat which is known to sit higher than most.
