BRo Im sorry that sucks! I live in hoboken across the Hudson river and NYC an its curb parking an hard to find spots, Ive seen bikes knocked over b4 and it hurts me and its not even my bike, PPL such somtimes an im sorry it happened to you.

I rent a garage just to avoid this whole scene cuz the situation you just exp is my nightmare ! Im really sorry but hope your bike is better then b4!
